I used to be a huge fan of horror and zombie movies when I was a kid. The past few years, the horror/zombie film fare has left me feeling mostly disappointed. I appreciate when things like The Walking Dead** come around to help reaffirm my love for the genre.

The pacing gets a bit slow in some areas, but I think over all it works and helps to emphasize the weird and uncomfortable nature of the world the characters now find themsleves forced to live in.
